As promised! Here is a list of some of my favorite books that would be the perfect gift for a book lover in your life.
All My Rage by Sabaa Tahir
A well deserved National Book Award winner. This book is the first book by Tahir outside of her An Ember in the Ashes fantasy quartet. I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but Tahir brought the laughs, cries, and screams she is known for. If there is an author that you just cannot predict what their characters will do next, it is Tahir. I enjoyed the authenticity of this story about Pakistani immigrants. I appreciated a story that was neither white washed or demeaning. Anyone from teenager to adult could learn from this heartfelt teenage tragedy. The price of trying to fit in in a place made to make you feel like you will never belong.

A Court of Thorns and Roses series by Sarah J. Maas
A soon to be series on Hulu, A Court of Thorns and Roses is a read not to be missed! While it isn't my all time favorite series, it was damn entertaining. Not to mention a read that will curb all your fairy fantasy cravings. My favorite part about the series is how much work Maas put into her characters. They really do come alive off the pages, which is no easy feat. If you are in the market for a new book boyfriend, look no further than this series!

The Final Girl Support Group by Grady Hendrix
Oh, the nostalgia this book gave me! If you are as big a slasher horror film buff as I am, you have got to get your hands on this book. It gave me Scream merged with a little Fight Club vibes. There were moments I was straight cackling I was laughing so hard and other moments each one of my hairs stood on end from suspense. The end had quite the twist too!

All Our Hidden Gifts by Caroline Donoghue
The first thing that caught my eye about this book was the cover. The hardcover itself was pink and the dust jacket was gorgeous! I know they say do not judge a book by its cover but I am so glad that I did. Part suspense and mystery with a dash of magic made this book a fun read. All elements I love bundled into one. There are illustrations throughout the book depicting the tarot cards described in the book--a nice touch. If you like the first book, there is a second in the series called The Gifts That Bind Us.

I hope this helps if you still need any last minute gifts. Happy holidays and yuletide!
