2023 in Review

Hi there! This seems to be the time of year I get on here and do a little year in review update. 2023 was quite the busy year! I had beta readers read my work in progress that I finally finished in July. Where are my YA readers at? The work in progress is a YA fantasy duology. I have been working on writing the synopsis and query letter so I can start the querying process. What a rush! I have also updated my author website and have hopefully made it easier to pay online.

This month, I signed up for my first market, which will be on November 25 AKA Small Business Saturday. Hopefully I will get to see some old faces and some new faces. If the market goes well then I will try to do them more often. I am also trying my best to participate in #NaNoWriMo as much as possible during the month of November. I got a new tripawed puppy so it has been a little difficult, but I am working on book two in my YA fantasy duology series.

My goal for 2024 is to start doing a monthly blog post and a quarterly newsletter. The blog posts would be any work in progress updates, followed by what I am reading at the time, and something I have written recently. The newsletters would be a hello from time to time to keep y'all in the loop.
